This building was designed for use as a woodland wildlife observatory at a school in Penkridge; it was built using tanalised log lap cladding and constructed on a timber frame base. The large viewing windows and two tier bench seating above created a seating and observation area for up to 30 children. The higher level window openings were in-filled with planed timber trellis panels for safety but still allowed constant air flow. The doorway was fitted with a wicket gate in order to enclose the area when required.
